• LPG cylinders should always be kept in an upright position.
• Unconnected cylinders should not be stored in more than 100kg.
• Keep the valves in switched off when not in use.
• During valve leakage, it’s wise to put on the safety cap of the cylinder and take it out in the open space.
• Don’t keep  cylinders in hot-water bath.
• Shout or raise alarm in case of leakage detected. Open the windows , ventilators and don’t switch on/off any electrical gadgets .
• Use DCP type fire extinguisher in case of leakage.

• The LPG shed should be devoid of dried twigs and plastics and the place should be kept clean.

• Unauthorized people should be restricted in LPG yards
