LPG for Powder Coating

Case Study on Impact of LPG on Powder Coating

Efficiency, Safety, and Productivity

A case study on opting LPG for improved safety, reliability, and productivity with reduced downtime for powder coating application.

Abstract

In this case study, we delve into the journey of a customer with a diverse product portfolio, including cutting-edge elevators, escalators, and building management systems, as they establish a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in India. Despite their familiarity with LPG, implementation challenges emerged, threatening the safety and efficiency of operations. SUPERGAS's customized solution directly addressed challenges, significantly boosting operations and demonstrating their adaptability in complex industries.

LPG for Powder Coating

Powder coating is a method that involves applying a layer of finely ground, free-flowing dry powder to a surface electrostatically, followed by heat treatment. This application method ensures a consistent coating, free from drips, sags, or unevenness. When compared to traditional paints, it provides a harder and more durable finish, protecting the surface from oxidation.

LPG is a prominent energy source in the powder coating process due to its reliability and efficiency. It is typically involved in the curing stage where heat is required. The reliable and consistent heat supply from LPG can ensure an uninterrupted process and an optimized outcome.
